TRL11 is a venture backed startup looking to bring cutting edge video technology to the space economy. We are based in Irvine, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Intern who is interested in interning with us for the summer.
Responsibilities:
- Support the procurement process by assisting in supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management
- Create RFQs to compile all technical information needed to initiate a competitive bidding process for suppliers
- Manage quotes and create purchase orders for materials and services
- Assist in inventory management activities; including purchasing of components/parts for every project
- Responsible to create an assembly line schedules
- Track component lead times and engage with vendors to resolve any backlogs that may impact a project timeline
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Supply Chain Management or similar
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic understanding of common commercial terms and accounting practices
